Reporting a wrong figure
Corrections matter more to us than anything else. To let us check quickly, please send:
- The page you used, ideally the share link, which stores your inputs in the address.
- Your inputs: gross pay, zone, years of service, pay period, bonus days.
- The figure you expected and its origin, such as your CFDI e-payslip, your employer’s payroll provider or an official table.
Each report is checked against the law or tariff concerned. When we are wrong, we fix it, add a test so it cannot come back and tell you. When the gap comes from something we do not model, for example benefits above the legal minimum, a foreign payroll component or an Infonavit mortgage deduction, we explain which item causes it.
Other reasons to write
- A calculation you could not find. Many improvements on this site started as an expat’s unanswered question.
- Embedding the calculator on an HR, relocation or community website. The code is on the widget page.
- Journalists and researchers who want the assumptions behind a figure.
What we cannot do
We cannot give personal tax or legal advice, review employment contracts, negotiate with employers or act in a dispute. For a dismissal or unpaid benefits, Mexico’s federal labour defence office (Procuraduría Federal de la Defensa del Trabajo) offers free guidance, and a Mexican labour lawyer can assess your case. For tax residency or treaty questions, see a Mexican accountant.
How your message is handled
Your email address and message are used only to reply and, where needed, to correct the site. They are not shared or used for marketing. See the privacy notice.
